Non oem valve cover gaskets ok?

Would I be mad to go Chinese?

I got a set off rockauto by beck/arnley for $90that fit nicely and seem to be doing well, install was i the last 2 weeks so time will tell! sounds like the OEM isn't far from what I paid

Thanks pascal, I kind of feel that I shouldn’t risk it; considering it’s a fairly important piece; I think I’ll just go bmw

It is important and the passenger side is a bit of a pain to do. Get some sealant, it’s needed on the arches in the back and up front in two spots

I would not buy it from a "guy from China", but Victor Reinz has been good for me. I dont think I ever used genuine BMW gaskets and I have no leak. Most of them were Victor Reinz.
