As the title states I'm getting an SRS light daily. My round trip to work has the same distance, same stop point coming and going, same relative drive speed and same amount of traffic either way. The only variable between coming and going is outside temp. I'm in Arizona so my drive to work now is upper 80s to low 90s. My drive home is no less than 105 degrees. I only get the SRS light on my drive home
So after searching as many threads as I could I did not find anyone who experienced an intermittent light issue that was similar to my situation.
I have checked the orange sensors on the top edges of both fender wells. No black goo, no signs of immediate damage.
I'm guessing since the outside temp is the only changing variable that is the culprit. Heat possibly causing expansion and I'm losing a connection somewhere maybe? Has anyone else experienced this issue maybe even in the opposite aspect of it being too cold?
Any help would be appreciated as I really dont want an unwanted airbag deployment on my drive home.
Maybe you try contact cleaner/enhancer on all plug connections, also on the control module.
