Hi,
I am about to purchase an early 2003 Steel Gray M3 verte (need a bigger 'verte), and would love to know the BMW repair history, including the rod bearing recall. The VIN is within the range for the recall.
Can someone run the VIN? WBSBR93493PK01496. Would love to know any and all service history on the car.
Feel free to PM me and I can provide my email (if that's easier).
ThankyouThankyouThankyou

Call the dealer and provide the VIN to the service department.
Marco, just like I mentioned on e46fanatics, I don't own it yet, they are not giving me anything.

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to add value to these threads, either by pictures or by descriptions, so the next person with the same or similar problem stands on your shoulders.
I don't think the MY-03 was effect by the bearing recall, it was only the YM-01 IIRC.
If you have the VIN, you can check open recalls here: https://www.bmwusa.com/safety-and-emission-recalls.html
