I have a 2006 BMW 325 (e90). I got rid of RFTs long ago. More recently a shock broke and pierced one of my front tires. I had all four tires replaced with new tires at a non-BMW tire shop.
Now the FTM (which now serves no purpose anyway) shows up in red in my display - how do I get rid of it permanently?
TIA

Are you gonna eat that?
Set your tire pressures, and reinitialize the system. It's not hard.
And yes, the FTM does serve a purpose. Doesn't matter if you have run-flat tires, or go-flat tires.

Thanks. Yes it is simple enough but the indicator kept coming back on until I found a suggestion (can't recall where on the 'Net now) - the suggestion was to push the button in a second time for 5 seconds. Several owners reported that it cleared it permanently for them, and now me too!
Now, onto my issue of the display on my radio that changes from bright to very dim ...
