The car is dark blue and has 102,000 miles for $8,999. Clean carfax, looks like oil was changed regularly, brakes, tires, etc. Electrical was serviced once. 2 owner car. First owner had it on a lease for 9200 miles a year for 3 years, then the 2nd owner drove it 11000 miles a year. Didn't see any glaring issues on the carfax. Strut mounts replaced at 59,000 miles. Hood adjusted at 28,000 miles. That's about it besides the previously mentioned maintenance.
I like the look of this more than the E39 and I'm happy to read that the E60 doesn't suffer from the same brittle plastic cooling parts that the E39 did. Is that correct?

A big reason I want the 528i is one less thing to worry about since it's naturally aspirated. Besides, I think the engine would sound better being NA. I get that BMW's typically need water/fuel pumps replaced, spark plugs, etc. more often than your basic Toyota, but are all those relatively easy to do?
Anything else I should know about? It's going to be my DD and I estimate I drive about 16-18k miles a year. Would love to get 3 years out of this.
