Is E60 525i with zf gearbox able to swap with ford falcon zf?

I am looking at buying an 04 E60 525i with a broken zf 6hp26 gearbox and I have looked at pricing of a second hand BMW one and it is fairly expensive. I have looked into the zf 6hp26 and it also came in the FG ford falcon which is a lot more reasonable of a price. since they both have a zf 6hp26 would this be a straight swap? Or would it not bolt up correctly to the engine/driveshaft. Any input is appreciated!

Bellhousing bolt pattern may be different. Valve body/solenoids may be different. Input and output shafts may differ. Probably all that can be swapped (the bell housing only if it’s separatelay bolted onto the trans) but I don’t know how much work it is. The main failure area seems to be the solenoids and sleeve. Are they any better on the Ford version?

it won't fit, the bellhousing is application specific.
