Lights staying on after engine shut off

Just bought a 2019 X2 last week and just noticed tonight that the few lights are staying on for few minutes even after the engine has been shut off... any ideas if this is normal? Do I need to take it in for a code check etc?

When shutting off the car the car is really not off, it takes about 20 mins for the car to go to sleep as they call it, as it is going to sleep the modules shut off one by one until there all off the car goes to sleep and min electrical draw is reached. If you checked for current draw right after the car was shut off it would be really high, but as you want the multimeter you would see the voltage drop slowly over 20 mins. If the never went to sleep the the lights would stay on indicating the car is awake and the battery would drain down quicker
