I was wondering how hard this is to do and how long it would approximately take? I am going to the drag strip soon and I wanted to see the difference with and without the driver's side headlight removed.
Is it safe to run the car without a headlight on the strip and do I need to disconnect the battery or anything else while I am removing the headlight?
Thank you. Give me any other tips or suggestions if you have any.
Just don't screw up your alignment.

Well I am getting a new nose panel and front bumper so either way I will have to take it out.
Bump, I would really appreciate some help. Thanks.
The left headlight is very easy to remove. You have to remove the cover that goes over your radiator first, and that's something like 4 screws and 2 fasteners. Once that's done, remove the turn signal from the headlight by looking straight down between itself and the headlight for a tab. Release the tab with a screwdriver or with your finger and slide the signal light housing forward. Now you remove the US headlight that is secured at 5 points. I think you need a 19 mm open wrench and a phillips screwdriver to remove.
In the pic below, the 5 mounting points are shown. If you have Euro headlights, there are only 4 mounting points.
Thank you very much! I appreciate it.
