1997 Z3 2.8L Airbag Light B800 Tool

Hi there,
I purchased the B800 tool to diagnose my ever-lit airbag light. FA read 02, 03 & 10. I deciphered that to seat belt sensor driver side. I cleaned the 3 electrical connectors under the driver seat and then checked the codes again on the B800 tool. It read the same 02, 03, 10. I then hit CA to clear the faults and the airbag light shutoff. My question is will the faults clear eventhough the problem could still be there?

It should come back on if issues still exist

If you clear the codes and the problem persists, the light will come back on. If you clear the codes and the light does not come back on, the problem is fixed (at least temporarily).

Also clean the seat belt contacts in the receiver/tensioner. It is electrical, too.
