Hi guys,
I have a MSPNP on my obd1 converted Turbo (gt35r) S52 with 60lb injectors. (in my 1988 e30 vert)
I was running real good last year, but still needed some tweeks on the warm start tables. Once the car was warm and i restart, it would not stay running unless I throttled it.
I put it away for the winter, and just took it out again.
Now it seems like the first bit of throttle is either on or off. Like accelerator enrichment is off or something. Makes it real hard to drive around town.
Anyway, does anyone have a good map i can take a look at. mainly to compare tables and such to what i have.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Jay
Why not just get the car properly tuned at this point.
A sudden change in drivability can indicate a sensor failure or other issue rather than the tune. Can you post up a copy of your tune and a data log of what's going on?

The thing I had to tweak the most for driveability and hot starts was the MAT/CLT curve. The stock Air Temp sensor on our cars makes this a bit of a nightmare to deal with when heat soaked. I'm looking into getting a faster response sensor to help with this.

tell me about it.
i had a firmware that used a slider to tone down the crappy air density curve to 50%.
started up WAY better on hot start.
now updated firmware, they took it away!
When will those guys learn on cars in the real world that shit doesn't work.
too aggressive. we're not driving lab equipment and a controlled environment.
maybe downgrade to the firmware that had the slider and put it to 50% should be way better.
i'm going to do this once i put my clutch in.

I've put together a detailed write-up on how to use data logs to tune your MAT / CLT correction curve here: https://www.diyautotune.com/news/tun...rection-table/
This one used a real data log from a 5.0 Mustang, which used an even worse MAT sensor location.
