For sale is my 1999 BMW 528i (6 cylinder) Sport Package Wagon with approximately 201,500 miles. It is an BMW Individual model with special MojaveBraun paint (darker tan metallic) and M-Sport steering wheel. The interior is tan (comfort seats). The car has many newer front suspension and rear air suspension airbags as it has the self leveling suspension system on the rear. Additionally it has a new radiator and water pump. Both rear air bags are new. The Air conditioner compressor has also been replaced and the air blows cold consistently. It has the 17 x 8 front and 17 x 9 rear OEM 540i style wheels with Michelin Pilot 235-45-17 and 245-45-17 on the rear (approximately 20 k miles on the fronts, and rears have less than 4k.tires. Stock radio and CD changer that both work. Drives and shifts great! The inline 6 cylinder is a terrific engine and can run upwards of 400k miles. It does not seem to burn any oil. Coco mats and rubber OEM mats and rear cargo cover.
This would be a project car as it does probably need a new rear air suspension compressor pump., The headliner is sagging in the back area, needs new rear hatch tailgate shocks and has rust on the lower side skirts. The side skirts would need to be repaired. The front spoiler is cracked and the hood could use a respray. I am not sure about the rust and what it would take to repair the side skirts if you elected to fix.
I may just try to get a new suspension pump and drive as a secondary car or part it out. This would make a good project car as wagons are getting harder to find. I do also have a 1999 Black/Black sport package wagon with 5 speed manual that I may consider selling as a package deal?? I have many receipts from Hendrick BMW and Eurowise here in Charlotte.
Let me know if you have any interest and questions regarding either car. I have owned many BMW's over the years and am a 25 year BMW CCA member (118856).
Thanks for looking and considering owning a rare wagon!
