    E46 320d ES Touring

    Bimmer newbie

    Hi guys,
So ive finally got rid of my little 1l vw lupo and managed to get hold of a e46 320d es touring (150bhp).

Absolutely over the moon with the purchase as managed to pick her up for £900 with 160ish on the clock.

As to be expected with a car of its age and cost there are a few issues:

Passenger side wing mirror has no casing
Rust on all arches (minimal should be able to just sand and paint)
Rear double seat release mechanism is broken (but opens fine with a screw driver)
Both front window motors seem very slow in going back up (maybe need runners greasing?)
Cruise control doesnt seem to do anything (not that i use it)
Alloys are bubbled around the centre
    Paintwork is fairly scratched
    Smokes a bit when accelerating
Heaters dont seem to be as powerful as in my lupo
Rear tyres are running very low

Other than that the inside is superb nothing out of place or broken and it drives very well it was bought to transport me, my parnter and our belongings out to the french alps for us to live there during this summer season and dont really think i could have done any better for the money.

Ill be looking to get her back to her former glory and maybe go a little further and add my own touch to the car with aesthetics and would love to try and get the throttle response tightened up a bit.

Any tips and tricks you guys have for me would be great!
