Hi guys, I have an e83 and I received my Bimmergeeks cable and I have BMW Standard Tools and I played around with it a little last night. I understand I can use NCS Expert/dummy to code and change vehicle preferences within the different modules.
My question is for retrofits. I'm installing a factory alarm kit and the instructions say to code it with DISPlus or GT-1. I may eventually retrofit nav as well which also says to use DISPlus or GT-1 for coding. Can this be done with NSC Expert or do I need to look for additional software to code/activate retrofits? Possibly Progman?
Thanks all!
Yes, NCS Expert and WinKFP does everything as DIS/Progman would, and probably better anyways.

Thank you! I did a bit more research and learned how to add the DWA to the VO, but I couldn't find any clear instructions on how to code a module that I've added to the VO. Once I add it do I have to go into a specific ECU and then change the setting to "aktiv" for DWA? What module would that be in? EKM possibly?
