    front (and rear) seat wearability

Want to comment on how amazed I am with how well my seats are holding up for a car with 146k miles. I have owned several (well maybe 10) BMW's and the front driver's side bolster always seems to be worn after 40k miles or so. Not so on my e60 Sport. Seats look, well, practically new. Wonder, is this the type of leather used? How are other e60 owner seats holding up?

I have an 07 with 143k and the sport seats in black leather. When I clean and condition them, they look brand new still. It’s remarkable actually. All the leather in the car is pristine. The material is definitely a tighter rougher leather, but had held up worlds better than the leather on our 2014 Lexus Gx with only 49k.

Ive noticed this as well. In the project car im working on, the interior is pristine, despite the car obviously being beat to hell and back mechanical wise.
