I'm experiencing a light clunk from the right rear when turning right at low speeds, especially over a dip or bump. Noise is infrequent, probably 50% of the time. Nothing loose on the inside that could be causing the noise. Any leads or ideas would be appreciated.
Rear diff fluids change?

Unfortunately, I haven't had time to give this much more attention. I don't think the sound is coming from the differintial, soinds more like something in the suspension, but nothing seems loose or worn.
It's likely something made out of rubber; bushing, shock mount, etc.

What I thought was a noise coming from the rear end, turned out to be my liftgate that needed to be adjusted. Sounds crazy, but that fixed the problem. The adjustment bumper on the right side was turned all the way in and was not holding the liftgate tight enough to keep it from flexing and making what seemed like a clunking coming from the rear differential or suspension.
Thanks I was having a similar issue with 2012 X3 and will look at this when I get home today.
