fog lights make horn go off

I recently purchased a 2001 325i when i turn my fog lights on, my horn goes off. I tried to add a video of it in action, but it wont allow me. anyone have a clue why this happens?

You need to have made 10 or 15 posts before the software will allow you to post a photo or a video.

As for the fog lights causing the horn to blow, I bet the previous owner hacked the wiring somewhere. Try www.newtis.info diagrams.

The foggers and the horn are usually tied together, my best guesses are:

1. The wires have been joined by corrosion or by an idiot

2. The foglights didn't come with the car and the person who installed them didn't do it right.

Best fix: Go to an auto electrician, no one is gonna be able to help you here
