I like them too. Although, I have to admit that i like the 65s much better. It's nice to have a few sets of wheels though, for the sake of tire wear. �� I thrww these on for now, until i can replace the tires on the other set.

Started working on my doors today. I got one mirror installed, along with an illuminated E39 door handle. Still need to change out the window regulator.

Illuminated door handles installed. And replaced the rear hatch handle assembly.

Replaced SLS solenoids the other day
Lraks much slower, but still leaks
Sits right above the tire aired up, after 2 days, it was down just pass the tread.

Today, I started looked to see how bad my parasitic drain was; it's at 80mA. I'll try to dig in to that more tomorrow. I do know, it's not the amplifier or FSU.

This evening, I ran scanner 1.4, for the first time. Only DME code was for the SAP, which was removed. MID doesn't see the phone. Its wired for a phone, but not installed. Anyway to disable it? LRA faults both headlight motors. Initially, the headlight level sensor was broken. I replaced it and fixed the wires
But, obviously, it still isnt working. SRS..... Oh boy! 10 lingering codes... 6 shadow and 4 hard codes
Hard... Airbag, front passenger; airbag, front passenger stage 2; side airbag, front left; battery, +terminal isolation 1. Shadow codes... Airbag, driver; side airbag, front right; airbag, driver stage 2; power supply; icu fault x2.

There is another, airbag control module, in the car. I wonder of i should try that one?

Car looks awesome !! Nice job with everything. Wish you could find my old wagon and snatch it up for some parts. The cinnamon interior and euro dash would go quite nicely in your car.

Thank you! No doubt. I do want to change some of the interior to black. And, I need front seats... Both are beyond repair, without getting reupholstered. I woild love to find cinnamon sport seats.

So, I've been using Scanner 1.4. The biggest issue is the SRS system. I had a spare srs module, so i thought I would swap it out and see what happens. After swapping it out and booting up scanner 1.4, now the software doesnt even recognize the car. So, I put yh2e original module back in the car and it still isn't recognized. What am i doing wrong?

Installed Raceland headers, today. Now, I just need to get to an exhaust shop and have the headers and exhaust mated.

And found out I had a dead battery, even though, I've kept it on a battery tender.

Re battery drain, check the heater valve in the engine bay & also the HVAC control panel, these are what caused mine

Had a bit of a disappointment after some exhaust work, earlier this week. Thread in main e39 forum. Car isnt running right.

Haven't really had much of a chance to work on it. I did notice that one side was sitting lower than the other, so i went to adjust my coilover, but it wouldn't turn. So i started looking for replacements. Now, I'm going a different route.

what method did you use for bringing the headlights back into perfect condition? I've tried all kinds of sand paper and polish and can not get it a perfect finish like yours

Sanded up to 3500 grit (Emory cloth). Then used a light buffing compound with orbital buffer. Finished off with maguires headlight protective spray.... The spray really made the clearness pop.

Where did you order your front bumper? I'm tempted to get one, but every vendor seems to carry the same chinese product just priced differently. Umnitza supposedly has the closest fit to BMW O.E. but it's obviously not the cheapest one around...All others seem to have that lil' 1/2" gap at the wheel well/fender... Might drive me crazy lol...
