Angel eyes Relay buzzing when connected to interior lights

Hi hope someone can help with this,fitted angel eyes to my E46 compact however the relay makes a buzzing noise when I connect the trigger wire(interior Light)for fade on/off, there is a capacitor on the relay (1000uf 16 volt) does anyone know how to get this to work without the relay buzzing..

What side of the relay is the capacitor on?
When the interior lights fade out it is done by pulse width modulation. If the capacitor is on the contact side of the relay then it will not help the buzzing at all. The capacitor needs to be on the coil side of the relay.
