Does anyone know if o2 sensors for e34 are interchangeable with other body code o2 sensors? My sensors on my 95 540i went out but i have some good ones lying around from an e36 m3 which have the same plug but a longer wire. Are the bosch o2 sensors all the same besides the wire length or do I NEED one from an e34 m60.
Also would e39 m62 ones work? im broke and dont wanna dish out $80 a sensor when i could get some from the junkyard which currently does not have any e34s but plenty of e39s.
There are inductive and hall sensors, you need to get the right one, length of the wire does not matter. For example you could use Bosch 13522, 13523, 15736 https://www.autohausaz.com/catalog/c...sor?s=d&page=1
BMW 11781741317 - Bosch 1352, or search for Bosch 1352 equivalent from NGK, NTK etc

Shogun tricks and tips for the E32 series are HERE!
E39s use a different style connector. Would work if care to do some splicing
