    Exhaust back pressure sensor

    Hey guys,

I have a 2010 E92 325d, bought like 3 months ago. I've got the DPF error showing up today.
A few weeks ago I got a diagnosis device which showed me a few errors: - Particule Filter System, Camshaft Sensor and Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor, as well as 2 glow plugs.
Also I checked the DPF reading and it says Ash Mass was 22 and Soot Mass 49. Not really sure if these values are crazy high or no.

Anyway, I'm trying to fix these thing and while trying to purchase the Exhaust Pressure Sensor I saw there are 2 types, for different exhaust systems: Pre-catalsy and after catalyst. Anyone knows which is should I get or how can I find out exactly?

    Thanks.

I think it's number 5 on this parts diagram.

I would disconnect number 5 and see if the codes still remain the same.

Fault Code: 004D00 is actually for Exhaust back pressure sensor signal.

Replace that and the camshaft position sensor and then once they're good the particulate filter system will get a regen done and it will solve that.
