Got a ? about installing a strut brace on my roady, will i notice much of a difference on the street, or are they mostly bling, although my roady will have poly wishbone bushings, and new struts, along with reinforcement plates for the towers, just curious if the studs on the strut mounts are long enough for a brace, with have the plates included?
Generally considered as ’bling’.
An X-Brace does more for front end stiffness that can be noticed on medium speed corner turn-in.
I believe the “Z” already has the X-Brace.

More on a Roady than a coupe, the brace will quiet that shutter that sometimes happens on bumps like RR tracks.
You will not likely notice any performance change. It's not much $$ so if nothing else, could help the towers from cracking.
I used the type of collar nut that has an extended thread section that penetrates the part being held. I had to slightly open up the hole in the plate. They are pricey. Like 7 or 8 bucks each, if I recall, at BMW, and difficult to find even online in bulk. Bottom line, its a want to do, not have to do project.
