    Question removing steering wheel top cover?

    How do I remove the soft cloth-covered cover from the top of the steering wheel?

    There is a good video that shows some impossible-to-remove metal tabs at https://youtu.be/XaaIlcGfN9M?t=129 but his suggestion is to just rip the thing out


    Also, educate me if there is a better term to describe this that I could have used for a better search

    it seems everyone just rip it out? Does it rattle if I just break the clips?
