I purchased a reman alternator and it worked for less than a year. I got a replacement through the warranty and after installing it, I can see sparks coming from the terminal connection on the back of the alternator when revved. Please help
Sparks fly when voltage jumps a gap. Suggest your review how secure the referenced connection is, and ensure the immediate surrounding area is clean. Also, that wires there aren't touching each other when they shouldn't. Also review whether you've got the connections correct.
