N54 loud clunking/knocking

Hello,

Sorry if I don't make a lot of sense. I am very new to BMW's so pardon my vocabulary.

Got a car that wasn't starting but after changing starter and battery the car starts with a lot of codes and loud knocking out of the engine. Opened the valve cover and nothing seems to be off. The Vanos on the vehicle were replaced by local dealership this March. The injector dont look super bad but not sure. The sound of the engine is similar to what's in the video

One thing to add though is there is a lot of smoke when I opened the oil fill cap. Before opening valve cover and injectors cylinder 4 was misfiring. Now 1 4 and 5 are misfiring. Any help will be appreciated.

Rod knock. Engine needs to be replaced.
