Rear roller blind...

Rear roller blind has decided it doesn't want to work anymore, fuse is ok, any pointers?

I had this happen, turns out it was old grease in the motor gearbox that had solidified.

I'll have a look, it seems i have to disembowel the rear cabin space to access........��

Yeah you'll have to remove the top rear deck, along with the back seat and C pillar.

The only one I've worked on had the old grease problem and the gear was slipping on the shaft.

Non-metallic gears are quieter and smoother. When something jams, they will also strip out in order to prevent more damage to other components. They are also usually cheaper and easier to mold than metal gears as well.
