Hey I have an e92 m3. I recently installed a new steering wheel. I unhooked the battery and installed the wheel without any issues. Put it back together and now my seat belt extender is not working. I changed out the fuse with a new one and still nothing. Is it possible unhooking my battery disabled it? I'm not sure how else to check to see if it's still working.

Is it only the driver side not working? Have you tried the passenger side too?
I am assuming you mean Fuse #30 with a 10 amp fuse?
There are separate Controllers for each Belt Position Motor, and the Foot Well Module (FRM A4011) controls/activates each controller. INPA or other BMW-specific software should be able to identify the area of the fault, connecting to the FRM and looking for codes.

Yeah, the FRM can be touchy to power changes, as well as water intrusion.
