HELP! Remove Rear Seat Backs 2001 750il

Hi all,

I know this has been done a thousand times on this forum, but it doesn't seem like anyone's had the issue I'm having.

So far, as per all the instructions and walkthroughs on the web.. I've removed the bench, the centre arm rest, the two cushions/supports in the corners. Undone all the bolts, and seat belts, and even removed the OS seat back... HOWEVER...

.. The NS seat back will not budge. I have scoured the internet for reasons why. There are no bolts still to be taken out (that I know of).. all the nuts/bolts mentioned in every walkthrough you can find have been removed.

Three of us have tried to get it out, using either the pull out and then up method.. or the just pull up method. Neither of us are particularly weak, so I must be missing something but I just don't know what.

I'm starting to be resigned to the fact this isn't coming apart!

There are the 6 bolts across the bottom, the trim pins up top, and the ski bag holder. Also, the rear seat should be in the “normal” positions (straight) for removal.

And for clarification: OS is Outer Seat (passengers) and NS is the armrest/center?
