I have the fuel tank out and I am starting to remove the old metal line. There seem to be several types of clips holding these lines: one, holding two lines, has a metal cap with a philips head screw--this looks easy to remove. The second, and I am talking about the clip holding two brake lines where the lines pass by the front of the passenger side wheel opening and in other places, has a rubber piece but no obvious screwdriver slot or other fastener. I need to remove the two lines from this rubber insert, and it looks as though it should be removable, but I don't see how. I can order replacement parts and see how they look, but it's probably easy--once you know how--as usual.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
