IMG_1072.jpgIn Austin TX now, exterior very good, interior good, mechanically sound and passes the stupid difficult MA safety inspection, has had over $4,500 in work done over the past two years, all at the Providence bmw dealer, including water pump etc, tie rod ends, other front end work, new tires this past winter, engine mounts, belts and tensioners, fan and fan clutch, and over the three years before that another $4kish went in at Austin bmw and/or Flamingo motors, valve cover gaskets and all pump gaskets, front-end work, window regulators, the belts and tensioners, etc. 235,000ish miles, just drove it back down from Massachusetts like 1500 miles and it drives just fine, it had 2 winters while I was in school and is from TX beyond that. All windows work. Ac works. Cd player. Front seats work but the leather isn’t the best as the prior owner was a very large man so I’ve creatively patched them with Levi’s jeans. I’d be open to trades for a newer (mid-00s and up) 5spd Jetta wagon or an auto Volvo wagon to cover me for a few months before I pick up a certified pre-owned 2014 6spd jetta sportswagen, or a Subaru wagon with a stick. Email with any questions. You’d be welcome to take it to the dealer for a pre-buy inspection, it’s mechanically sound and should go many many thousands of miles with oil and liquid upkeep before it needs the next round of gaskets, belts, tensioners, etc. I don’t know what a fair price on this would be so make an offer, all-in-all I have put over $11,000 into this vehicle over 5 years, including purchase price. Check the Austin craigslist for the listing. It is well kept and has been well respected for what it is. It looks way cool w the 7series grill and drives heavy and strong with its v8, but my bachelor mobile has got to go.IMG_1080.jpg
