I have a white 850i with a bit of a tragic history that is in need of saving. I bought the car in 2013, and drove it for several years before it began running on 6 cylinders, and unfortunately it has spent most of its time in storage since then, and now has a few more issues.
Known mechanical issues:
Driver side throttle motor does not move. (Passenger side bank does not fire.)
Passenger side throttle motor moves randomly. (Driver side fires, but not in tune with throttle input, thus the car is not currently drivable.)
Clutch pedal drops to the floor. (Likely from disuse, after pumping it a few times, I have gotten it to spring back. It appears to shift fine, but hasn't moved faster than 5mph in a few years.)
Before my ownership the car was hit on the driver side, and is thus rebuilt. It is originally an automatic that has been swapped to the 6-speed manual. Because of the original damage there is rust coming through the paint on the Driver side A-pillar and C-pillar, the rest of the car is rust free.
I am not selling the car because I want to, but out of necessity. I am going through some health issues, and cannot afford to bring this car back to the state that it should be any time soon because of it, and have been given the ultimatum that I may only have as many cars as fits in my garage, so I need to sell it.
The car has about 121,000 miles, about 15,000 of which I have put on the car in the six years I've owned it, and has both the original set of wheels without hubs (I have two, but not all four) and a set of ASA AR1 wheels with newer tires (they are currently on the car) as shown in the second picture. I am hoping to get about $4500. I can post or send more pictures by request.
