M70 engine mounts, who was OEM producer?

I should get to replacing my mounts. Seems easy enough to do. Wondering who produced OEM, usually buying the brand name versus BMW stamped is cheaper. But I learned with mounts, never go third party.

Learned a few more things. Victor Reinz makes nothing, at all. I did not know this as I usually prefer their products. But what I learned is they re-box OEM. Which is probably why I generally buy their gaskets and such. SO I poked around and found another company, Rein. They also repackage and are a division of CRP. From all that I read, Rein engine mounts are OEM. They even look more OEM than some of the others like Lemforder. So I took a gamble and bought a set. They are hydraulic like OEM, not solid rubber. Stamping says made in Germany. Will report back when they arrive. But I may not install until spring unless we get some nice weather.

Hi Unity, did you end up installing the Rein engine mounts? If so, how are they?

Never installed them. Still in boxes some place that I can not find right now. Sold car today so I wanted to pass them onto the new owner. They looks spot-on for OEM though at a lot less expensive price. If I can find them, I will take some pics.
