275/35/20 michelin a/s 3+ for sale

Hey all,

If anyone is interested I have a set of 4 almost new (1500 miles on them) 275/35/20 Michelin pilot sport a/s 3+ for sale. They are the same diameter as stock at 27.6" but about 1 1/2" wider. I'd take $500 for the set plus the ride or you can pick them up.

FWIW, 27.6" is not stock diameter, it's a bit taller. Stock E38 tires are all in the 26.6 - 27.3" range.

I have an '01 IL that came with 225/60/17 which are 27.6", are these not a stock size?

If they're a stock size I haven't seen them listed anywhere. Stock for 17s would have been a 235/55R17 from what I've seen. 27.6" is certainly within the range of what'll fit the car, however (provided they're not super wide).

Yeah - you got some odd sizes there. The door jamb - drivers door has the label, which shows you the correct / factory sizes. Other than Protection ( armored ) 740’s - none came factory with a 17 inch wheel.

I believe you could get 17” style 70 wheels on a non-protection E38. Not sure what size tires though. Where’s Q?

They are style 70s and came with run flats

At any rate, the 17 inch tire specified for any e38 is 235/55/17.
