    About ISTA+

    hello can you help I just got my ISTA+ I do not no what version I have but I would like to know befor I put it to the car can I use a k+DCAN usb Interface as that is all i have for when I use INPA,NCS-Expert, & NcsDummy So can I just run it just with the car Battery like I would do with (INPA,NCS-EXPERT AND NCSDUMMY ? BUT I DID Connect it to my car and this is what is showing me and I would like to no if that is good or not and what I can do about it as I can see there are not a lot of green one ?So a lot of help would much appreciated on what I have to do next ?

    All you really can use is the USB to OBD-II D-CAN connector for a E-46. Now is your were going to work on a F-20, you would need additional adapters.

    I don't prefer to have the car on without a battery tender, so keep that in mind.

    Hello dworthy Thank you for getting back to me,
    So how and what can I do to get them all back to Green as I take it you have looked at the attached picture in my 1st message I send out to you all As I am all new to ISTA+ and I would like to get help by video as in like a YouTube Guide or text as in step-by-step Guide in what to do next.
    when I plug it back into the car and get back to Vehicle information control unit tree ?what to do next

    Green mean no codes stored, so you will have to pull and clear all the codes from the yellow ECU's.

    I mostly use INPA, and have only seen the ISTA suite a couple of times.

    Not familiar with ISTA either because I use DIS. But a quick look at the video below tells you that your next step would be to highlight the module you want to look at and then press 'Call up ECU functions'. That should enable you to read the fault code memory etc. I did read that ISTA+ will not program the E46. But as it appears that you can also select programming from there, I would exercise caution at that point

    This was the 1st one I did with 33 Fault And then I clear all the codes
    then it was just 9 Fault 55.jpgso I did it one more time and I got this showing up with 10 Faults1.JPG2.JPG3.JPG4.JPGand I do not no what is going on eny help plz

    The only one in there I would be concerned with is the MAP cooling. That means you thermostat is kaput, and will need to be replaced. All the other stuff is mox nix, as it can wait until you have time.
