I have SS brake lines on my 850 and about to do the rotors and pads on the Alpina. Any Cons to the stainless? They make the pedal hard which some may not like.

I have stainless lines on my 850i, and there was a very minimal change in brake pedal effort. Definitely a lot less than compared to other cars that I have done in the past. I was say maybe 5% difference at best. The main benefit of SS lines I think, is overall durabilty.

SS lines only help keep the line at a constant diameter, and prevent them from swelling up which would reduce braking effectiveness. More important to have good pads and rotors (first thing I replaced on my B7...)
