What size spacer and tires should I use?

    2009 BMW 535i.
I just got a set of 20x8.5 +36 offset and 20x9.5 +36 offset. The front wheel is hitting the strut. What size spacer is recommended? I don't wanna go too far out where I might rub the fender. The car will not be lowered.
As for tires, should I go 235/35/20 or 245/30/20?

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

20s are big for an E60.

The offset you have is meant for an xi car, not a RWD.
