Goodbye to the community

Helllo friends, the time has come for me to move on from the E31 community as my 850i is now on the market over at Bring a Trailer. It has been an amazing 5 year run with this chassis, and I must say that this has by far been my favourite community to have been a part of. From the wealth of knowledge to the class of its members, I will truly cherish this experience for the rest of my life. I would like to thank Roger Wray and Patrick Dupuis of Customs and Exotics for helping to get my car prepped, as well as Autosattlerei Schmidt in Germany for putting together one of the most amazing interiors I have ever owned. I would like to thank Dragon850 for his wealth of knowledge in regards to engine tuning (I still owe you an engine cover btw). A special mention goes out to Wolf (aka Wokke) for his amazing suspension components and the work he performed for me while in Germany. I would also like to say thanks to John over at boostedlogic who has become a good friend over the years. Last, and certainly not least I would like to thank the E31 community as a whole for sharing in what is truly a legendary automobile.

Hi Lamar. Yours is a beautiful car, and I no doubt you will have any problems selling it. The interior reminds me of the Clarion Build's 8 that they did. It really compliments the CalypsoRot exterior.

Yes it is. Very keen eye. The photos in the listing with mountains in the background were actually taken in Lucerne.
