    E32 750iL SRS codes?

I forget which vehicle I had this was possible on, maybe my Benz, but my 1992 750iL is giving me a flashing RSR light that after some time goes steady. The vehicle sold with this issues listed, but I would like to get it resolved anyway before the buyer picks it up. Is there any way to retrieve codes similar to stomp codes? I dont have a laptop or any sorta code reader. Have cable, but software never worked right on my laptop.

E32 does not have such a code like a stomp code. Also my SIR3 SRS reset tool which works on the E32 - now sold out - did not read codes, it just reset the SRS light when the fault was repaired. The Peake SRS tool as well as the cheap chinese B800 SRS tool do not work on E32, only from built year 1994 >, they can read fault codes.
There was a service bulletin 720496 but that refers to codes which come with a BMW diagnostic tool: "If you have code 24 its the drivers side if you have fault code 25 its the passenger side, either way it goes into the default mode which is to trigger both bags in the event of an accident. IF the system is functioning normally then the seat belt sensors detect if you have a passenger in the car and will turn that bag on or off which would save some money if nobodies on that side then you don't need to trigger the passenger bag. It affects all models with the ZAE airbag system, e34, e36, e38, e31 as of production date 3/94."
    But does not mention E32.

    Or try this:
HOW TO: Reset Early Airbag/SRS light. No Special Tools!
This only works on Early E31, start of production to 09/93 With SIEMENS 5WK4 027 (65771382905) modules. This module is also found in some E23,e24,e30,e32,e34, and e36, procedure should work for those as well. This worked for mine even when DIS/INPA/Autologic, and all those others failed to communicate.
    1. Turn the ignition switch to the off position.
    2. Install a jumper from in pin #15 of the engine diagnostic connector to ground.(Since this is awkward to do in the timing given in this procedure, i used a small screwdriver and tapped into pin 6 at the orange x74 connector behind the glovebox, either will work) 3. Turn the ignition switch to the on (run) position but, do not start the car.
    4. After five seconds, disconnect the jumper.
    5. Wait another five seconds.
    6. Reconnect the jumper
    7. After five seconds, disconnect the jumpers.
    8. Wait five seconds after disconnecting the jumpers.
    9. Turn the ignition switch off.
    10. Start the car. The air bag warning light should clear after approximately 10 seconds. If the light does not clear repeat the procedure.
If, after three attempts, the light does not clear, there is most likely a problem with the air bag system which needs to be repaired.

In some case it also helped to check the connections and spray them with contact enhancer.
