2011 BMW 550 GT Wiper Malfunction

I had a 'wiper malfunction soon' error. Fuse was blown and when replaced, they blew again. Dismantled wiper motor, it was full of water (only two of the clips holding the cover were on). I replaced the motor (ordered a used one from eBay), changed the fuse and it still does not work!

Do I need to reset anything? I searched for a relay, but there is none!

Any ideas?

Maybe buying genuine, new BMW parts would be the first step. Not used junk on ebay.

I agree, my first guess was that the used part was the problem.
