    S13 M50 Turbo - cool build!

Hey dudes, I thought I would share this with you guys here. I'm not sure if I have all of you on facebook or not, but I think this build is super cool. This is my buddy Axel Francois' build from France. I met him last summer at a really cool event that I can't legally post about yet, but you will all see it soon

He has an M50 turbo swapped S13 hatch, with a ZF 5 speed box. Stock M50 with just ARPs and a cutring gasket (I think it's a cutring, I'll ask him), E85, 13psi. It makes around 400 or so, and he drives the wheels off of it. If you want some M50 turbo limiter bashing symphonic sounds, check out this video!

I love seeing M50s swapped into other chassis. He explained to me that he basically gets these for free or almost free, so he doesn't bother to build anything, just runs them until they die and then R&R it. I love it!

    +1

They are free engines to him, or at max like $200. Why not? 2J swap is substantially more expensive, SR20s throw rocker arms, I mean it's almost a no brainer in Europe honestly.

I mean, M50s are dime a dozen so... that's cool. The car worked but looked a bit janky to me.

He had been drifting it for 2 years with a stock M50 in it making 400whp and it basically let go at the show. It is a janky and super cheap setup for sure. Stock manifolds flipped and welded onto with a cheapo Holset turbo on it, etc. The cage is decently done and the rest of it is fine / normal ish drift car.
