Any suspension suggestion for an e36 sedan 325i 1991?

I finally want to change the stock suspension and was looking into fix ones since I think the coilovers may be a little to stiff. The problem is since my car is from 1991 there arent many options... Im thinking about bilstein b12 sportline, but im afraid it will lower the car too much (4,5-5/3cm), so maibe the prokit is a better option (3-3cm)? Any experiences? I never had low suspension so im afraid it could touch with the speedbums... Thanks for your answers

Koni shocks with lowering springs rides smoother than a bilstein shock according to the internet. I had bilstein HD shocks with eibach springs and my father loved them, I wanted more spring and have since upgraded. You don't really need to worry about scraping or bottoming out until you are on coilovers and just going as low as you can.

Make sure you would not get in trouble with local law before lowering the car.

Thanks for your answers makinM and Mless!
Yes Coiloversbis definitely too much... If there isnt too much problem with that then I would definitely prefer the b12 sportline kit!
I already checked and you need to get them into papers paying around 160€. The good thing about prokit is that they arent as low and the springs are black, so they dont get it!

You most likely will need to upgrade to some later model parts to install the struts. BMW made a change 06/1992 that changes hardware.
Sway bar mount and strut mounts come to mind. I thought Turner marketed a kit, but I cannot locate it.
The following link outlines what the parts issue is, I do not believe anyone produces a proper 1991-1992 strut, so later parts are required for the build-up

Buy Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates from 1996+E36M3, E46M3 Convertible Rear Shock Mounts, and Z3 RSM Reinforcement Plates. Paper Body Gaskets front and rear. Front and rear ‘bump stops’ and Dust Shields.

I also recommend Koni Sports and H&R OE Sports, the OE Sports offer minimal drop.

I have the B12 Sportlines on my E46 and they don’t lower so much that you can’t get over speed bumps or anything.

They are quite “sporty” / firm which is what I wanted. If you don’t want a firm ride just go for some stock Sachs dampers and you’re good. If you want to lower the car then choose the sport version of the dampers and some Eibach or H&R springs.
