I'll have to say, this has been the best driving and least expensive car I've ever owned.
1 fuel pump
1 starter
Several coils
1 Set of injectors..Probably not needed.
1Transmission mechotrnic sealing sleeve
1 Set of cats...that was the big one..$750 with me instzlling..And my fault. Long story....burned a lot of old two stroke mix and probably 8 gallons of diesel than I need to dispose of. I would only pour in a quart per fill up. But they lasted 300,000 so still not bad.I
Here is the part in battling with...the suspension is pretty much shot. It would cost as much to rebuild than the car is worth. But I truly love this car. It looks like it has 50k on it. Garage keep. Normally I'm ready to dump my other cars after many miles. Not this one. The funny part is, my wife has given my the green light on another beemer. I'm not sure direct injection will last this long.
Congrats on reaching that milestone! One thing though, what year is it?
Edit: okay, two things.... It's "bimmer", not beemer", hence the spelling of this forum.

2007 530xi, Black Metallic Sapphire, 6 speed manual, Sport package, Cold Weather Package, Premium Package, Premium Sound Package, Sirius Satellite Radio, MTech front bumper, Replica Style 166 wheels
Congratulations on the mileage!
How expensive do you think it would be to renew the suspension?
I have 2006 530xi with 429000 km on it, I am hoping to hit 500000 km.
Your alot further than I am.
If your enjoying the car fix it.

Suspension rebuild is not that bad. RockAuto has decent OEM brands at good prices. Just buy it all and install at once.
I'm at 195xxx miles on my 550i.
+1 on RockAuto
