Hi
I have been working on my e36 323i project for a while...
323i
M50 manifold
36lb injectors
Sc14 supercharger running around 6-7psi
Intercooler so - 2ish psi
328 exhuast still with cat
Aem wideband sensor
And loads of suspension bits..but they make no didference.
So i have it all bolted together and trying to tune it with romraider. I have been given a few tunes for very similar set ups. They should all run the car pretty well, maybe need abit of tweaking, but should run.
I have put a couple different tunes on but the car still acts the same.
I know the tune is being flashed to the ecu as i had to do a ews delete on the ecu that is in the car now as i bricked the original one.
So problem im having is...
Everytime i start the engine it will idle for okay for a second, then drop down to 20-22 afr and run extremely lean. Misfiring and lumpy. I turn it off as i dont want to run it that lomg like that so i havent hot it to temperature yet.
I have taken the spark plugs out twice now (in the space of maybe 10-15 starts) and they are covered in black.
So my car is running super lean but spark plugs are black?
I have check for vacuum leaks a million times with smoke, propane and takig every hose off and examining. (Still not saying its defo not a leak)
But has anyone else got any more ideas of what it couod be?
Just a little video to show you my set up
It's most likely the tune and how it matches to your injectors and mass air flow sensor.

Think ive sussed the problem. The map i had was running it so rich that it was missfiring. Sending unburnt air from the engine down the exhuast. Causing the wideband sensore to rean super lean.
I havent sussed it still having major lean readings. Its not the map. Anyone got any other ideas?
