Rear height adjusters - do I have these in right?

So, I've had this car for ages... and once upon a time, I was younger, and did a lot of goofy mods. Many years later, I am trying to un-goof my car. That includes putting in some decent suspension. Ended up buying some rebuilt TCK DAs'. I thought I'd post up and see if I'm doing things right.

Currently have everything in this order:

    - Spring pad
    - Height adjuster
    - Spring

    Here are my concerns:

    1) I've noticed the spring is not sitting centered over the raised hole in the control arm. Is that ok?

    2) Should I run an additional spring pad below the spring? It seems like it would help center the spring a little and also prevent damage to the upper control arm.

    3) Height adjuster was put on top for ease of adjustment. However, these things are a massive pain in the ass to adjust as both pieces just turn together. Is that normal?

You’ve got some kind of a hybrid setup, as TCK DAs come with beehive rear springs, which places the ride height adjuster in the lower control arm penetration.
You need additional parts to make this (incorrect spring) setup work.

And yes, you need lower spring pads.

You are correct. The rear springs were leftovers from another setup I once had but they are a little too tall.

ETA: Discovered rear alignment spring platforms so I might pick up a pair of those and some shorter springs. Anyone have a source for springs?

I have a few sets of lowering rear springs, let me know what total height you are after and I'll see if I have anything that matches.
