1973 euro chassis with VIN 3200720 3.5 liter M30B35 with triple webers, Pertronix , Hartge header and 265 5 speed with LSD
Bilsteins sports with unknown lowering springs.
Big sways
This car is a bit of a hot rod with some puzzling aspects overall. It is titled as a 1970 2800 CS and has an Alpina VIN tag on it. I dont see any real evidence of it being an Alpina car. Appears to have 2800 seats in good condition front and rear. The passenger door panel is loose at the rear edge but in good condition. Dash has a crack and wood needs refinishing.
Good headliner and carpet.
Windows all work but suffer from slow action due to typical dried up lithium grease. Should be dismantled and relubed. Ive had good luck with these doing this.
There are 2 dents in the car. One on drivers front fender (with damaged left turn signal) and one on the roof directly above drivers position. (something dropped on roof panel) PDR candidate here
I have the trim for both front fenders and the front center section but it was removed when fender was damaged.
Tires are junk and wheels are rough but straight and true.
It has a newer stainless exhaust all the way back
The underside of this car is very nice with no signs of rust repair.
There is a bit of corrosion as can be seen on the lower front fender driver side but no holes. Over all this is a really solid car that deserves some love.
5 years ago this was a great car but has suffered from exposure in Chicago. Its still super solid Especially for an E9. Ive only driven this car 50 or 60 miles and with the exception of a slight shimmy at 60MPH (likely from these dry rotted tires) it drives nicely, Stops well and sounds absolutely incredible with triple webers and this exhaust. There are no chokes connected as it was a California car so it is cold blooded to start on our 40 degree Minnesota mornings but once you get some heat in it it runs great and has instant throttle response. This is a 50 yo car so it will need some love but Id feel comfortable selling this to anyone . Its a great base for a resto or just freshen it up and enjoy a cheap cool E9
I have a clear California title and am offering this car at 21,000.00 or best offer. Also interested in partial trades valued at 7k or less plus cash. Please see the pictures and ask any questions you may have. Id welcome a PPI and can provide any other pics you may need.
A hagerty value of a #4 car is as follows . Id consider this better than fair but it has its own issues.

#4 vehicles are daily drivers, with flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the body has a minor dent. Split seams or a cracked dash, where applicable, might be present. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or other non- stock additions might be present. A #4 vehicle can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one word that describes a #4 vehicle
