I live in a gated community that uses a passive transponder fixed to the windshield to open the gate. Mine does not work. Is there anything about the windshield that is blocking the signal to the gate opener?

Does the transponder work when it’s iutsude the car?

The transponder is a decal fixed to the inside of the windshield with adhesive and cannot be removed. My community people tell me there is electronic signals coming from the car that confuses the gate electronics. I'll have to get a different car!!! Thanks for your response.

There is nothing special about that windshield. I see the transponders on them all the time.
