Mike and I have worked with a manufacture to do a LIMITED PRODUCTION RUN of the RD Bumper Filler Reproduction. The last time this piece was made was over 10 years ago, and they are virtually non-existent. It turns out that due to the complex curves and nature of the boxed section with non-drawing surfaces, the fully boxed piece will have to be formed out of 2 sections, then joined and finished, and the manufacturing process is more complex than Mike and I thought. The finish will be of Automotive Grade primer, with stainless steel mounting hardware.
As of today (May 2nd), we have finished the prototype (actually we have gone through 4 to make sure it is what we want), and production starts this week.
If you wish to get in on this limited production run, this will be a pre-paid purchase. Mike and I are not going to get rich doing this. We just wanted to make the piece available to those who have expressed a wish to have one. This is a ONE TIME extension of the original order date. If you want one, this will be your last chance.
Price for each item, which includes shipping within the continental United States, is $295 each.
If you wish to be included in this limited production run, then here are the steps:
1. Send an email to: rdbumperfiller(at)gmail.com
2. Include the following: Full Name, shipping address, number of units wanted
3. Send $295 for each piece and make sure to say that the money is being sent as a gift. Send the funds via Paypal. The Paypal account to send the money to is: rdw95(at)juno.com
If you would rather pay by check or have any questions, please send a request to: rdbumperfiller(at)gmail.com for address information.
Cutoff date for this extended order period will be May 10, 2019. Delivery date for these orders will be in June baring any unforeseen circumstances.
Thanks,
Mike and Roger

This is the part you are referring to?
It’s the part in between the two inlet vents, below the center grills.

I'm in also I do believe. I'll email a photo of my front bumper to make sure that it will fit. I have Alpina front end.

The bumper filler piece will fit any 8 series upper bumper cover, including all models from the 840 - 850. It fills in the space, as shown in Mike's photo above, in between the 2 brake duct openings. It attaches utilizing the OEM attachment points with two bolts and washers from behind. No modification of the bumper cover is necessary.

Mine is missing the 13 inch wide piece under the kidneys. Same piece that you are making?

It goes there, but it also replaces the two false grill sections on either side of the open space.

I was finally able to pick up all the pieces. Thanks to everyone who ordered - it was a long and complex process due to the shape of the piece and took longer than expected. Tony said that he had alot more time involved than he thought it would take, and to be honest he is not going to make any more.
Here is a picture of several of the ones I picked up yesterday. They will be packed and out to everyone that ordered one by the end of the week. Thanks for everyone's patience.

Just to make sure everyone understands, these are all sold out and no more will be made. Please do not send money for orders.
Thanks.

My first one was on the red car, and it too was from them. These were fiberglass with internal resin reinforcement.
