    2004 BMW Z4 2.5i Assistance Needed

    Hi

I have a 2004 BMW Z4 2.5 i Convertible. I am attempting to remove the volume control switch on the steering wheel. Question: do I need to remove the airbag before I replace the volume control switch? My understanding is that I need to have the battery disconnected for one hour before doing so.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Arturo

Pretty sure the retaining screws for the switch are under the airbag. Disconnect the battery (the one-hour waiting period is not necessary for any reason), remove the airbag, replace the switch, reinstall the airbag, reconnect the battery. No sweat.

    Hello,

The AC is blowing hot air. My mechanic put freon and the AC began blowing cool air for about 15 minutes and then returned to blowing hot air. May someone please provide some guidance on how to solve this issue? It would truly be appreciated.

You have to find where it's leaking out.

    Hi,

I'm trying to insert my coolant level sensor back into its place, but it is springing back and not allowing me to insert it. What do I need to do in order for it to insert properly?

    Thank you,
