Hi 2002 Fans,
I'm close to buying my 2nd 2002. Sold the first one a few years ago and have been sorry ever since. I have a couple requests:
1. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the greater Phoenix, AZ area? I used to go to Ultimate BMW in Scottsdale but they no longer work on 2002's.
2. I want to replace the bumpers on the '76 I'm looking at. Not sure if I want to convert to pre-'74 bumpers (did that on my last '74) or to just remove them and add a quality spoiler in front (don't know what to do about the back bumper yet). I used to buy parts from a So Cal firm, but have forgotten their name.
If anyone can assist, that would be appreciated. If anyone wants to call, my cell is 480-371-4800. My name is John Kjos. My email address is ekjos@outlook.com.
I merged your 2 threads, takes a while till you see your new post, as you have less than 10 posts, so a moderator has to manually approve such posts, that is the forum spam-o-matic system, after you have 10 posts the posts will be shown immy.
Maybe you post the question for a mechanic also in the regional forums https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/f...ons-amp-Events

Ireland Engineering may have a front spoiler that would work for you.
