I was changing out the fuel filter on a 1992 BMW 325ic and changing out some of the hoses that are connected to the fuel filter. There is a line that routes in the same direction with the supply/return and it looks like brake line (the smallest tube, please correct me if I am wrong)? What exactly is that line for, it goes to towards the top of the fuel tank through the bottom.
I have tried to look on realoem but the diagrams are so split up. The fuel tank diagrams show a line routed on the top with the connection by all the other fuel filter connections, but can't find anything else.
THis is the closest picture I could find...it's the left most line/hose looking at the bottom of the image.
Thanks
