Car is originally a 1999 M3 5-speed with around 190,000 miles. Cosmos Black exterior over black Vader interior. I've owned the car for around 4 years, daily driving it for around 1.5 years and the rest of the time the car has been going through the swap and/or sitting in storage. Other than the swap, the car is mostly stock- still even has the factory tape deck.
Donor car was a 1998 Camaro with around 106,000 miles at the time it was disassembled. I bought this car fully running/driving and drove it for the better part of a year off and on. Vehicle seemed to be taken care of and I wanted a donor that I could verify was in good working order before I wasted time on a dropout from eBay, etc.
As it stands now I'd say for my what I wanted the car to be, the car is around 80-85% complete. It starts up first time, every time and idles as it should. I've taken it down the road and put a few miles on it and all gauges read as the should. The core support, lights, bumper, grille, hood, cowl, and some other assorted small trim need to be put back together. Center console and a few little pieces need put back in for the interior. The exhaust needs to be mated from the headers to the stock cat-back. That should be about everything. i'd say except for the exhaust, maybe 4-5 hours if you know these cars. I have everything that was taken off the car in storage bins that will of course come with the car.
Car has the following for swap parts:
Chuck Kovach engine mount brackets with BimmerWorld Group N isolators
Chuck Kovach transmission mount bracket with poly mount insert from Summit Racing
Chuck Kovach 1-3/4" stainless v-band headers
Wiring Specialties Harness w/ additional A/C harness in case you choose to go that route
Wiring Specialties 1999-2002 ECM w/ tachometer conversion for gauge cluster to read accurately
Mishimoto aluminum radiator with dual slim line fans
